Next, visit the stunning UNESCO World Heritage Roman ruins at Tipaza, one of North Africa’s most picturesque ancient Roman cities. Wander along the ancient Roman roads overlooking the crystal-clear Mediterranean Sea and explore the archaeological site, including the largest basilica in North Africa and the Tipaza museum.

Afterwards, journey back to Algiers and stop to marvel at the unique Royal Mausoleum of Mauritania, known as the Tomb of the Christian—a fascinating pyramid-like structure steeped in history.

In the late afternoon or evening, take your flight to Annaba, where your driver will greet you for a transfer to your hotel, completing a day rich with Algeria’s coastal and historical wonders.

Discover the ruins of the Basilica of Peace, where St. Augustine served as bishop during the late 4th and early 5th centuries.

Don’t miss the magnificent Cathedral of St. Augustine, constructed between 1881 and 1900. Its stunning stained glass windows vividly depict the life and legacy of St. Augustine, one of the early Church Fathers.
